Apryl’s on the Two Smoothie a Day diet, which is good for her busy, rushed lifestyle. In the morning she makes sure she gets as many nutrients in her system as possible so she has the energy to keep up with a demanding schedule. Here’s her recipe, even though it looks green, and her son says it looks “yucky”, it’s really tasty!


1 banana

1 cup frozen fruit

2 spinach nuggets (We only find this at Walmart)

2 tbsp chia seeds

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

Blend it all up and enjoy!
