We are loving Luisella Foods. We were first introduced to Patricia’s brand a month ago, when she offered us a few spoonfuls of her chocolate spread at a coffee shop. Those spoonfuls weren’t enough as we craved the whole jar!

Luisella spread is made from sunflower seeds, sunflower oil and milk chocolate. It’s nut-free, palm oil-free, sugar-free and just full of good stuff. It’s all natural and the best part is, it’s safe for school.  Can we get an amen?

Patricia is working to get the jars on store shelves by November 1. When you get your hands on it, you should definitely try this recipe for back to school. Energy bars are our kids jam! It’s full of nutrients but taste like a big treat!

Luisella Energy Balls

So good, so healthy! Your kids will love them!


  • 1 cup old fashioned oats or store bought granola
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup Luisella chocolate spread (any flavour)
  • 1/2 cup roasted sunflower seeds or any dry fruit you desire or have in your pantry
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract


  1. Add all ingredients to a large bowl and stir until well combined. 

  2. Cover and let chill in the refrigerator for about an hour

  3. Once chilled, roll into 1-inch balls (or whatever size you want them to be) and arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. 

  4. Set in the refrigerator for an additional two hours until hardens. 

  5. Go ahead and transfer to an airtight container and store in the fridge up to one month.
